Ultra Short-range Teleportation
SUPERUSELESS SUPERPOWER: Ultra Short-Range Teleportation.
This unamazing power lets you teleport up to one inch away. When done in rapid succession, it gives that old-timey stop action feel. It can also really push your "popping & locking" routine to the next level.
LOL Next level pop & Lock.
ReplyDeleteOf all the ones so far, I'd think I'd take this one. That would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteHAHA, by far my favorite
ReplyDeleteThere was an Analog sf story about someone with this power. As I recall, he started out using it in boxing to be able to get inside his opponent's guard. Eventually he used it in a more significant way and stopped boxing.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it would work if you were in a jail or something like that
ReplyDeleteThis superpower could actually be useful. If done many times in rapid succession, it becomes a form of momentum-less motion. Overcoming momentum is the theoretical barrier faster than light travel. I want!
ReplyDeleteTeleporting a million times in 10 seconds is pretty nice, you just cant look like you're phasing through anything
ReplyDeleteThis one isn't that superuseless.
ReplyDeleteThis could be useful for avoiding a bullet! So, not that useless...
ReplyDeleteI want it, especially to enhance my pop and lock technique. The momentumless travell is also cool.
ReplyDeleteIf this can be done in rapid succession, like the description suggests, then it could be used to fly. Not superuseless at all.
ReplyDeleteThis one is actually too good to be a super-useless power. I'd LOVE to have this ability. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat post very good information. I need more information about std clinic.
ReplyDeleteThere are all sorts of amazingly useful things you could do with this power with just a bit of creativity.
ReplyDeleteOne good technique would be to teleport materials into themselves to create ultra-dense objects, allowing you to do any of the following:
A. Make a blade so dense it forms an event horizon, creating an unstoppable weapon that literally eats through anything it touches. Use continuous tiny teleports to maintain it or teleport it apart to re-stabilize it when you're done.
B. Make armor or shielding so dense it's impenetrable. You could wear 20 tons of steel and simply move by teleportation.
C. If you carry metal marbles, you can teleport the molecules together so densely they form miniscule black holes. If you make them small enough, these black holes will decay almost instantaneously, converting all that matter into an explosive blast of energy. A 1" steel ball would explode with 48,000 TJ of force - 25% stronger than the strongest US nuclear warheads. You may need some of the previously mentioned armor to survive this kind of weapon.
Teleporting "less than an inch" but with extreme accuracy is a far more powerful ability than long range teleportation with low accuracy.
"Captain Nukefist" would beat a weakling like Superman any day.
